About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for driving supplier selection, serve as lead negotiator for complex, high value transactions
Responsible for developing the Global Commodity Strategy
Execute strategic sourcing and relationship management strategies for supply partners
Develop/Foster supplier partnerships across the company
Partner with Supply Chain, R&D, Product Management and Finance to drive supplier process, quality, and compliance improvements
Facilitate supplier change notices or material obsolescence with business partner team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business discipline, Operations Management, Engineering or relevant technical discipline
Professionally recognized qualification in related field
8 to 10 years Technical / Procurement Management experience in medical device and/or a regulated manufacturing environment in healthcare or high technology
Proven track record of managing employees, building high-performance supply organization and ensuring delivery of high-quality products on-time and on budget
Previous experience in packaging commodity procurement, an advantage
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, Power BI
