Community Manager

• As the first growth hire, you will be responsible for building awareness, acquiring users, and creating scalable growth systems.
• Approximately 50% of the role will involve direct engagement with online communities across platforms such as Reddit, Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook groups, and digital nomad networks.
• You will have significant autonomy to test ideas, run experiments, and identify growth opportunities without relying on an established playbook.

Growth – Latam & Nomad Community

• Work with team on strategic goals and in support of NJWFA and NJWFP initiatives and candidates in New Jersey
• Build digital and grassroots support for NJWFP electoral programs
• Create compelling digital campaigns that tell the story of NJWFA and NJWFP progressive, bold campaigns, vision and leaders with support and oversight from the Director of Democracy Organizing
• Produce creative content for NJWFA and NJWFP social networking sites
• Assist in the execution of rapid response social media
• Assist with building the We the People Civic Engagement table through digital and organizing
• Organize bi-monthly regional coalition meetings with groups in North, Central and South Jersey
• Recruit and support members to lead local activist and volunteer community in coordination with Organizing and Technology staff leads
• Supports identifying and building alliances with other organizations
• Evaluates changing conditions and modifies plans accordingly

Community and Digital Organizer

• Support the lifecycle of corporate charitable giving and Foundation programs, including grant applications, review processes, award administration, and impact reporting
• Maintain accurate records and tracking systems for grants, donations, volunteer activities, and community engagement initiatives
• Monitor program budgets, expenses, timelines, and deliverables to ensure effective program execution
• Assist with the development and implementation of new community engagement programs and initiatives
• Gather, analyze, and maintain data related to program participation, outcomes, and community impact
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support quarterly updates and organizational reporting
• Track key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness
• Support the collection of stories, testimonials, and impact data that demonstrate program success
• Support internal communications efforts to promote community engagement programs and participation opportunities
• Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to develop content highlighting Garney’s community impact
• Assist with donor stewardship activities, including correspondence, recognition efforts, and engagement tracking
• Coordinate logistics and preparation for fundraising activities, volunteer events, and community engagement programs
• Support relationships with nonprofit organizations, community partners, and external stakeholders
• Represent Garney and the Foundation at community events and engagement activities
• Assist with coordinating volunteer opportunities and employee engagement initiatives
• Provide administrative and operational support for community partnership activities

Community Engagement Specialist

• Focus on understanding and addressing the needs of healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, patients/caregivers, and patient advocacy groups
• Improve patient outcomes, lower costs, and enhance the quality of care
• Serve as the primary point of contact and identify opportunities for implementing ecosystem and TA squad strategies
• Deliver education to healthcare providers on product information, appropriate use, dosing and administration
• Collaborate with specialty pharmacies
• Provide patients/caregivers and patient advocacy group members with resources and information to empower discussions with healthcare providers

Rare Blood Disorder Account and Community Manager

• Work with a diverse set of stakeholders, including Tribes, Continuums of Care (CoCs), Public Housing Authorities (PHAs), multifamily owners/operators, and service providers, to deliver technical assistance aligned with VAWA requirements and survivor housing protections.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on VAWA compliance across HUD programs, including Tribal, single-family, multifamily, and housing counseling, with a focus on emergency transfers, lease bifurcation, confidentiality requirements, and survivor rights.
• Provide guidance to grantees and housing providers on integrating trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches into policies, procedures, and service delivery.
• Develop and deliver training sessions, conference presentations, workshops, and webinars on VAWA implementation, compliance, and best practices for supporting survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
• Facilitate technical assistance engagements to assess needs, recommend actionable strategies, and support implementation of VAWA-aligned policies and procedures.
• Support the development of tools, templates, and resources (e.g., emergency transfer plans, policies, compliance checklists), as well as reports and policy guidance related to VAWA and housing stability.
• Apply a survivor-centered lens across all deliverables, ensuring culturally responsive approaches that address disparities in access to safe housing.
• Stay current on HUD guidance, VAWA reauthorizations, and evolving best practices, translating requirements into practical guidance for stakeholders.

On-Call VAWA Advisor – Housing & Community Development

• Responsible for the daily operation of one or more community home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Delegate work, assign duties, and complete tasks of direct support staff.
• Support team by fostering open communication and setting clear expectations.
• Provide necessary resources, training, and regular feedback.
• Ensure health, safety, and welfare of individuals within the program.
• Coordinate and ensure development of shifts, activities, and routines.
• Serve as direct supervisor of direct support staff, interviewing, hiring, orienting and training.
• Participate in the company’s on-call system.
• Transport individuals for meetings, appointments, or community activities.

Program Supervisor – IDD Community Home Services

• Sustain maximum client satisfaction by meeting the needs of each assigned Board and Community
• Attend, prepare for, and participate in annual and general meetings
• Manage vendor proposals and contracts, risk management, insurance, maintenance, and architectural requests and approvals
• Coordinate employees such as janitorial, maintenance, administrative, and others
• Collect all invoices and code for payment, and follow up on monthly assessments due
• Serve as liaison between association boards and legal counsel
• Prepare manager reports and financial summaries for the boards
• Manage the onboarding and exit of associations

Community Association Manager

• Ensure the pool and clubhouse areas are kept neat and tidy at all times
• Monitor the area to ensure the safety of our residents and their guests
• Verify that only authorized residents and residents guests use the pool area by checking their identification (e.g. amenity passes and property identification)
• Enforce the amenities and pool rules as stated in the Resident Handbook
• Supervise activities in the clubhouse and pool areas
• Report any violations of clubhouse or pool rules to the Community Manager
• Check pool chemical levels throughout the day to maintain acceptable levels
• Issue reasonable commands or instructions to individuals when necessary
• Set an example by acting in a professional and proper manner
• Ensure guardians are supervising the children in the clubhouse and pool areas
• Think safety first and ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected promptly
• Arrange the clubhouse and pool furniture as needed
• Check the restroom areas for cleanliness and report to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Communicate effectively with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors, and team members while presenting a positive, professional image
