About the role
- Develop and execute the regional commercial strategy to disrupt established players and achieve ZURU company goals across customers and verticals
- Complete ownership of the region P&L, responsible for driving sales, optimizing trade investment and maximizing product mix
- Build long term strategic partnerships and negotiate/execute Joint Business Plans with retail and distributor partners
- Create and execute the region’s customer trade strategy, identify and gain distribution in accounts, and build 4P execution across all customers
- Execute distribution, feature, display and marketing activation in-store and online in collaboration with marketing and China sales support
- Lead cross-functional business teams to drive customer sales performance, P&L and supply metrics
- Devise country commercial strategy and influence cross-functional adoption to secure tools, products and support
- Constantly improve commercial processes to drive efficiencies and performance
- Foster team culture, resolve business issues, and influence broader capability development
Requirements
- Proven track record of at least 6+ years in senior sales or commercial leadership roles within the consumer goods industry, preferably confectionery
- Major retailer and distributor experience within the respective regions required
- Strong commercial & business acumen, strategic thinking and problem-solving capability
- Strong communication & influencing skills
- Strong leadership capability including ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams and hold stakeholders accountable
- Bachelor’s degree
- EU work permit required
- Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team across different time zones
