About the role
- Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with potential mid-market clients (100–300 employees)
- Develop deep understanding of prospects' go-to-market challenges and position ZoomInfo solutions
- Manage sophisticated sales cycles (two weeks to six months) including discovery, presentations, POCs, multi-threading, and custom proposals
- Employ a structured yet flexible sales approach adaptable to various buying processes and timelines
- Lead negotiations for deals ranging from $15k to over $100k and navigate contract complexities
- Engage and align multiple stakeholders, including senior executives, to secure consensus
- Utilize strong communication to articulate solution value and meet client strategic goals
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast to meet quarterly and annual targets
- Prospect into target accounts using email outreach, cold calling, and social networking in addition to inbound leads
- Work with a paired SDR; manage different opportunity types and related quotas
- Share best practices across the team and leverage CRM tools to analyze sales activities
- Gather market and competitor intelligence and contribute strategic insights to sales and marketing
- Perform other duties as required by manager
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in prospecting and self-sourcing opportunities
- Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles within the mid-market sector
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CRM and sales forecasting tools
- Dynamic, motivated individual with a persistent drive to achieve sales targets
- US base salary range $62,500 to $105,000
- Variable compensation (commission/bonus) and On-Target Earnings (OTE) $150,000 - $210,000
