About the role
- Scope and sell professional services engagements, including implementation, integration, and advisory work.
- Define statements of work (SOW) and service proposals based on customer business needs.
- Lead creation and negotiation of contracts and SOWs, coordinating with legal and finance.
- Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to identify, qualify, and close services opportunities.
- Provide strategic advisory services, offering best practices, market analysis, and optimization strategies.
- Contribute to growth of professional services by identifying new opportunities and refining offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in scoping, selling, and contracting professional services within the SaaS industry or direct experience implementing Zip.
- Experience with writing and negotiating Statements of Work (SOWs) and services contracts.
- Strong understanding of typical SaaS implementation lifecycles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with both sales teams and clients.
- A strategic thinker who can translate complex customer needs into well-defined professional services engagements.
