About the role
- The AI Solutions Architect serves as a subject matter expert and product owner for IronEdge Group’s AI offerings, driving value for both prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle.
- This role partners with sales, vendors, and clients to present IronEdge’s AI vision, deliver technical demonstrations, and design proof-of-concepts that translate into impactful solutions.
- Acting as the AI technical SME during pursuits, the architect helps shape account acquisition strategies, cross-sell opportunities, and client proposals while ensuring clear and compelling executive-facing deliverables.
- This role requires staying immersed in the fast-changing AI landscape, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies to effectively position our solutions in the market.
- Collaboration with vendors and partners is essential to continuously refine and expand our AI capabilities.
- The AI Solutions Architect educates clients on emerging trends and practical use cases, aligning technology with business needs to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Additional responsibilities include supporting the creation and execution of accurate Statements of Work, guiding solution design and implementation, and ensuring customer success through ongoing engagement.
- This position blends technical expertise, business acumen, and strategic vision to help clients harness AI as a catalyst for innovation and growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ business consulting or technical service delivery within a pre-sales and post sales environment.
- Understanding technology concepts related to: Artificial Intelligence AI Enablement and use cases utilizing ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot, HatzAI, and others
- Expertise in phased solution architecture and project-based design, delivering technology solutions over time through structured, multi-phase engagements.
- Ability to interface with the clients and internal teams at an executive level
- Ability to logically plan using milestones and phases
- Experience working across departments and collaborating with Sales & Account Management teams on deliverables and within prospect-related discussions
- Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
- Hands-on expertise with scoping infrastructure footprints and making recommendations on offerings.
- All positions require the successful completion of a criminal background check, and further background checks if the position involves access to sensitive information or secure facilities.
- This position requires travel to different locations, which requires a valid driver’s license, intermittent DMV checks, and a reliable personal vehicle.
