About the role
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Salesforce CoE operating model and long-term strategic roadmap
- Partner with business leadership to understand their needs and translate them into a clear Salesforce vision
- Champion a data-driven culture using platform metrics, business insights, and user feedback
- Establish and enforce a robust governance framework for change management, release management, and security protocols
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Salesforce team including administrators, developers, and business analysts
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CoE ensuring efficient delivery of projects and services
- Stay current with the latest Salesforce technologies to identify opportunities for Zelis
- Develop, manage, and track the annual budget for the Salesforce platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a leadership role managing a Salesforce platform
- Deep expertise across multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Marketing)
- Strong understanding of the platform's declarative and programmatic capabilities
- Experience with Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and Agentforce is a significant plus
- Proven track record of developing and executing a strategic roadmap for a complex enterprise-level Salesforce environment
- Strong experience with governance, change management, and release management processes in an agile development environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant) are highly preferred
- Experience in the healthcare or financial services industry is a plus
