Account Development – Serving as the primary contact for the category buyer, you will create annual account level business plans that drive mutual growth. These plans will set objectives to support all brands through merchandising, promotions, advertising, shelf space, pricing and new products.
Strategic Partnerships – Educating and developing rapport with internal and external customers, you will promote partnerships, seek feedback and address customer needs and requests. In unison with many stakeholders, you will lead strategic development to proactively plan the future of Kellogg’s initiatives at your customer.
Analytics – Knowing your business will be imperative in driving sales growth. Performing pre- and post- promotion analysis, revising future programs, and capturing new ideas and opportunities will be necessary to deliver the right solutions to shoppers. Similarly, understanding relevant insights will be key to the development of future WK Kellogg Co initiatives at your customer.
Budget Management – You will be responsible for achieving Profit & Loss metrics through partnership and joint business plans. Net Sales, profit and share growth are key metrics in determining success. Successfully developing and delivering joint business plan (JBP) objectives for sales and margin expansion will be a critical responsibility of the Senior National Account Executive.
Requirements
Top Account customer experience and headquarter penetration (in either a direct selling or partnership resource capacity, i.e. Marketing, Category Management, etc.)
Sales, Marketing, Category Management, or Consumer/Shopper Marketing experience
Consumer Package Goods (CPG) Industry related work experience
Demonstrated ability to lead and work across diverse teams to accomplish goals
Ability to tell a story using data (i.e. Nielsen, IRI - Scan Customer & Loyalty)
Advanced project/process skillset, including experience in P&L’s, financial analysis, as well as superior written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced negotiation skills
High level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to work in conditions, which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints.
College diploma or equivalent
