About the role
- Interpret prevailing wage, start of construction and domestic content laws and translate them into actionable company policies and procedures
- Develop, implement, and maintain the compliance strategy and governance playbook for prevailing wage and tax requirements
- Design and manage Notice & Action Plan (NAP) frameworks to proactively identify, assess, and remediate compliance risks
- Partner with legal, HR, operations, and construction teams to ensure compliance is embedded in contracts and construction practices
- Oversee the effectiveness of external consultants and ensure their work aligns with compliance objectives
- Lead audit planning and reviews; and drive executive reporting and risk analysis related to compliance
- Create and maintain compliance documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Requirements
- Deep understanding of prevailing wage law, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- Strategic thinking and strong judgment in compliance matters
- Risk management and mitigation expertise
- Experience collaborating across functions and managing external consultants
- Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills
