About the role
- Acquire knowledge, experience, skills, and business acumen in the assigned area (e.g., Claims, Surety, IT) under direct supervision.
- Assist leader, team, or business unit with assigned work, including project work and day-to-day activities.
- Develop business acumen through interactions and shadowing with professionals; attend business unit meetings and prepare and deliver presentations as assigned.
- Engage in one-on-one, online, and on-the-job learning/educational assignments and experiences; develop operating knowledge of standardized hardware, software, third-party software, and procedures.
- Solicit reinforcing and constructive feedback and incorporate into development; identify resources, best practices, and external networking opportunities.
- Maintain awareness, understanding, and compliance with internal policies, procedures, laws, and regulations appropriate for this position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or Business preferred.
