Revenue Management Manager

• Join the Wellstar Enterprise Support Team (W.E.S.T.) , providing care across multiple facilities.
• Support a variety of units based on your specialty to meet system-wide patient care needs.
• Collaborate with surgical teams in the Operating Room (OR).

Experienced RN – Regional Float Team, ED, Acute Care, ICU, OR

Medical Billing and Coding

• Reviewing documentation in outpatient and/or IVR medical records
• Accurately assigning appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS/CPT-4 HCPCS procedural codes
• Abstracting demographic coding information
• Managing additional coding responsibilities

Outpatient Coder 2

Auditor

• The Lead Coding Services Auditor is responsible for conducting prebill and retrospective reviews to include, but not limited to, focused reviews on identified opportunities, mortality, PSI (patient safety indicators) and coder focused audits.
• Reviews include full DRG validation, review of assigned ICD-10-CM/PCS, POA indicator(s), validation of all abstracting elements, review for query opportunities affecting DRG, severity of illness, and/or risk of mortality scores.
• Auditor will use Vizient risk adjustment tools to identify potential coding opportunities during chart reviews.
• All audits performed ensure compliance with current coding guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Will use critical thinking skills and knowledge of coding/compliance guidelines to identify potential documentation, coding and reimbursement issues and report these to the leadership.
• Serves as a mentor for the auditing team providing expert level expertise and feedback to the auditing and leadership team.
• Will represent the auditing team in meetings within and outside the department on subject matter within the owning area.
• Create and maintain detailed data logs and trend and produce data in a meaningful executive style format for presentation.
• Perform lead duties in support of team in regard to data and reporting to include but not limited to: produce monthly reports and maintains dashboards from multiple systems, maintains other logs and spreadsheets (i.e.: CFB email, PSI log), maintain updated data needed by team (i.e.: Vizient Data), update written processes as directed by Data Quality Manager.

Lead Coding Services Auditor

• Reviewing documentation in same day surgery and observation medical records
• Accurately and completely assigning appropriate ICD-10-CM diagnostic and procedural CPT-4/HCPCS codes
• Abstracts demographic and coding information accurately and completely
• Codes and abstracts medical records with a minimum of accuracy.
• A mentor to new coders
• Assists with cleaning up or escalating missing documentation or other work queues

Facility Surgical Coder 2

• Reviewing documentation in inpatient and/or IVR (interventional radiology) medical records
• Accurately and completely assigning appropriate ICD-10-CM diagnostic and ICD-10-PCS/CPT-4 HCPCS procedural codes
• Abstract demographic and coding information accurately and completely
• Codes and abstracts medical records with a minimum of accuracy
• Meets productivity standards
• Queries providers, if needed to further clarify code
• Manages additional coding responsibilities
• Resolves coding edits and reminders, correcting abstracting and coding issues in a timely manner
• Completes and routes problem accounts, ready to code, high dollar and other accounts daily

Inpatient Coder 3 – 10K Sign-On Bonus Available

• Reviewing documentation in inpatient and/or IVR medical records
• Accurately and completely assigning appropriate ICD-10-CM diagnostic and ICD-10-PCS/CPT-4 HCPCS procedural codes
