About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for medication administration and implementing respiratory care
- Deliver patient care in complex, multiple problem-patient care situations
- Perform patient assessment & assessment for therapy
- Collaborate with health care team members in planning patient care
- Educate patient and mentor/precept new employees, students, and peers
- Promote high level of patient safety and evidence-based practice
- Complete patient care documentation and education
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates Respiratory Therapy or Bachelors Respiratory Therapy-Preferred
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT, RCP
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
- Ability to communicate well and establish relationships with healthcare professionals
- Good assessment and communication skills
