About the role
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to translate needs into requirements.
- Understand & Translate Needs – Capture, document, and refine business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Optimize Processes – Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
- Document Clearly – Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and wireframes to ensure alignment across project lifecycle.
- Manage Stakeholders – Facilitate discussions, workshops, and presentations to drive clarity and consensus.
- Leverage Data – Collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights, performance tracking, and decision support.
- Ensure Quality – Collaborate with QA teams, validate test cases, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support Change – Assist with training, documentation, and adoption strategies for smooth rollout of new tools and processes.
- Work Agile – Partner with product owners and developers in Agile/Scrum teams to prioritize and deliver backlog items on time.
Requirements
- 3–4 years as a Business Analyst in IT, consulting, financial services, or similar industries.
- Analytical Strength: Ability to break down complex problems and translate them into structured, actionable solutions.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on with SQL, Excel, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI/Tableau (or similar BI/requirements tools).
- Documentation Expertise: Skilled at creating BRDs, FRDs, process maps, user stories, and wireframes.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present technical ideas in simple, clear language.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to align diverse stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a focus on iterative delivery.
- Nice to Have: Professional certifications (CBAP, CCBA, Agile Scrum Master); experience with ERP/CRM systems or digital transformation projects; knowledge of SQL queries and building BI dashboards.
