Lead and develop teams by teaching, training and providing feedback through touring stores and conducting TourtoTeach
Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising and company direction
Introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams
Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards using the One Best Way (OBW) service model and manage customer service initiatives
Resolve customer needs, complaints and issues and develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies
Drive financial performance by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses
Monitor merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow and operational processes; develop action plans to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals
Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations and providing recognition
Coordinate, complete and oversee job-related activities by maintaining relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying goals and measuring progress
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity
Requirements
2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience
For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
Preferred: Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
Preferred: General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
