About the role

  • Grow Vivo Energy Guinea business in Power & Industry sectors and achieve sales targets (volume and margin)
  • Manage and develop long-term relationships with key Power & Industry customers at all organizational levels
  • Develop and monitor Power & Industry pipelines and define sector-specific pipelines
  • Plan and conduct sales negotiations with decision makers in Power & Industry companies
  • Develop, update and implement yearly account plans for each Power & Industry customer and communicate to stakeholders
  • Manage CRM usage (C4C): weekly updates including call reports, account plans, SPANCOP
  • Monitor and analyze large account sales performance and take appropriate actions
  • Ensure implementation of Vivo Energy credit policy and collect payments timely
  • Monitor customer needs and competitor activities; coordinate CVP implementation with technical advisor
  • Coordinate marketing grid with Marketing Department for Power & Industry customers
  • Collect consumption forecasts and communicate accurate data for IBP consolidation
  • Define quarterly customer visit plans and share call reports with line manager
  • Manage Power & Industry tenders and troubleshoot problems, developing appropriate solutions
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts for S&OP and work with S&D to monitor lubricant stock levels
  • Deliver HSSE plan: conduct safety walk-abouts, toolbox meetings, identify and report PIs and TNT

Requirements

  • An appropriate Engineering qualification
  • At least 5 years technical/commercial experience including selling, negotiating, business development, and CRM usage
  • Knowledge of Power & Industry sectors
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Exposure to fuels and lubricants supply operations and HSE in industry environment
  • Operations experience and understanding of fuel operations procedures
  • Proven track record in influencing, strong selling skills, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Deep knowledge of Power sector, products, and Customer Value Propositions (CVPs)
  • Competence: Selling & Negotiation Mastery; Customer Relationship Management; Customer Value Proposition; Market Awareness; Maximise Business Opportunities; Delivering Results
