• As a key member of the Portfolio Management team, manage client assets using portfolio optimization tools and proprietary quantitative rules-based engines

Backend Engineer

• Architect, design, and implement scalable and reliable Java-based software solutions. Contribute to the development of backend systems and APIs that adhere to best practices and industry standards.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable Java code. Conduct thorough code reviews and advocate for best practices in software design and coding standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, architects, and other engineers to understand the requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise within the team.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining efficient results

• Work closely with and support the Portfolio Management team on the day-to-day investment management operations
• Perform optimization testing and scenario analysis using optimization tools such as Northfield / MARS
• Conduct ad hoc investment research by writing code in SQL and Python

• Collaborate and communicate with trading and operations team to implement effective trading strategies
