About the role
- Identify and target high-value prospects and decision-makers to secure new business
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to build a strong sales pipeline
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis and present tailored solutions
- Negotiate and close new contracts with compelling value propositions
- Ensure seamless transition of new accounts into company operations and align with client expectations
- Foster strong relationships with newly acquired clients to maximize account potential and explore expansion opportunities
- Create and implement pricing strategies, service offerings, and presentation plans for prospects
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and address client needs during the sales process
- Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics using CRM
- Provide consistent follow-up with prospects and clients to ensure high communication and responsiveness
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of proven sales experience with a consistent record of exceeding quotas
- Strong hunter mentality with proven ability to secure new clients (New Business Development)
- Proficient in consultative selling and uncovering client needs
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and closing deals
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; strong follow-up ability
- Experience using Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) for prospect tracking and pipeline management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment (Time Management)
- Logistics, brokerage, or related industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing new accounts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
