Support Engineer

• Act as VAST Data technical expert handling daily technical operations and escalations.
• Respond to customer issues (reactive and proactive), evaluate problems and use hands-on-keyboard skills to resolve or escalate with detailed information.
• Work as part of Flight Crew with Support Engineers and Success Managers to handle all post-sales activity.
• Develop, test and implement solutions for file protocols, machine learning, object storage, and high-performance computing in lab and customer sites.
• Consult pre-sales teams on technical sales activities and support Professional Services with onsite field activities.
• Perform and support field services: installations, upgrades, break-fix and expansions as needed.
• Submit and manage feature requests and bugs into product marketing and development teams and advocate for account priorities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to ensure full adoption and usage of VAST products.
• Manage workload to balance meeting KPIs and VAST SLAs while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Customer Support Engineer

QA Engineer

• Design, develop, and implement test plans, test fixtures and infrastructure for hardware products.
• Collaborate with R&D to define test requirements early in the product lifecycle.
• Develop test scripts and automation software (Python, LabVIEW, C#, etc.) to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Validate test coverage, yield, and reliability through statistical analysis (GR&R, Cpk, SPC).
• Support EVT, DVT, and PVT phases with test readiness and execution and lead test process transfer to contract manufacturers/ODMs.
• Train CM engineers/technicians on test systems and procedures and ensure compliance with safety/regulatory/customer requirements.
• Monitor production test yields, debug failures, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to reduce test time/cost/false failures.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment and fixtures; support ECOs by updating test plans and equipment.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, reliability, Quality and Operations teams; engage with suppliers and CM partners on test strategy alignment.

Senior Hardware Test Engineer

• Build trusted customer relationships based on your customer-first mindset, technical excellence and command of VAST product.
• Respond to technical support issues quickly, working hands-on-keyboard to solve or escalate the issues while being highly communicative.
• Complete daily technical operations as needed for the customers, working technical issues to full resolution and closure.
• Perform and support field services for customers: installations, upgrades, break-fix and expansions as needed.

Product Designer

• Design end-to-end user experiences for VAST’s family of web properties, from initial concepts and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and final production.
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems that balance creativity with consistency across multiple sites.
• Create beautiful, functional, and accessible web interfaces, landing pages, campaign microsites, and support/documentation experiences.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and brand teams to ensure that every touchpoint reflects VAST’s design ethos and storytelling.

• Drive the definition, strategy, and roadmap for core components of the VAST AI OS, and establish and scale product management practices that enable high alignment, fast iteration, and cross-functional clarity.
