• Plan and execute ULI Boston's committee-driven events calendar, including speaker series, panel discussions, tours, roundtables and member gatherings.
• Manage all event logistics: venue sourcing and contracting, catering, invitations, marketing, registration and on-site coordination.
• Work with committee chairs and member leads to develop programming that resonates with our membership.
• Understand what makes a meaningful ULI Boston event and be able to distinguish that from content that serves a sponsor rather than the member.
• Support ULI Boston's local product councils, cohort-based member groups that meet throughout the year.
• Manage event-related communications: invitations, reminders, follow-ups and member correspondence.
• Maintain relationships with key vendors, venues and partners in the Boston market.

Program and Events Manager

• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Impact Lab's decarbonization strategy
• Identify emergent opportunities and evaluate priorities based on impact potential, member interest, implementation feasibility, timing, and funder alignment
• Work with market intelligence colleagues to diagnose barriers and opportunities in building decarbonization
• Synthesize member insights, field intelligence, market analysis, and policy trends into clear recommendations
• Engage ULI members and staff through the Greenprint Community of Practice, District and National Councils, Product Councils, and other forums
• Develop and manage collaborations with external partners
• Design and help launch multi-stakeholder initiatives and campaigns
• Develop market-facing products including briefs, case studies, reports, implementation tools, and executive summaries
• Contribute to monitoring and evaluation frameworks that help the Lab understand whether campaigns, demonstrations, and partnerships are influencing practice, policy, or capital allocation
• Develop presentations, talking points, concept notes, and funder-facing narratives

• Lead the logistical strategy and execution of ULI's Spring and Fall meetings
• Manage meeting budgets totaling $5 million and above
• Oversee vendor relationships across all categories
• Manage site selection and contract negotiations
• Create and maintain comprehensive project timelines and deliverables
• Lead and develop a team of three full-time staff
• Partner with departments across ULI to align meeting objectives
• Build and maintain relationships with ULI members and stakeholders
• Manage strategic partnerships with major logistics partners
• Support the logistics needs of additional conferences and events

Vice President – Meeting Logistics

• Own Future Forum and the annual Awards for Excellence gala from strategy through execution
• Set messaging strategy and own ULI Washington's external voice across email, LinkedIn, and Instagram
• Act as a trusted operational partner to the Executive Director
• Support member committee co-chairs to set agendas and maintain planning schedules

Operations

• Run UrbanPlan as the primary staff lead: coordinate scheduling, logistics, volunteer engagement, and materials management
• Liaise with the member committee and support the Executive Director on program development
• Maintain accurate data across ULI's core systems
• Process vendor and contractor invoices through Sage Intacct
• Partner with volunteer committee co-chairs to coordinate agendas, logistics, and event delivery
