About the role

  • Develop smart, integrated content and comms strategies that drive impact across the customer journey for clients like Bol, ING, Audi, Canva, and more.
  • Shape content and comms strategies across channels and formats, balancing creativity with performance.
  • Translate client goals into clear briefs, frameworks, and storytelling approaches.
  • Apply audience insights, cultural trends, and platform behaviors to guide creative and comms choices.
  • Team up with brand strategists to bring positioning to life.
  • Work hand-in-hand with creatives to align big ideas with channel and format choices.
  • Collaborate with media and platform strategists, influencer specialists, and partners to maintain campaign consistency across touchpoints.
  • Present work to excite clients and teammates.
  • Build relationships with client stakeholders and become their go-to for everyday strategy.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities with fresh insights and ideas.
  • Keep up to date on culture, communications, and platform trends.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (must have!)
  • A HBO-/WO-level education (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
  • Around 4 years of experience in content, comms, or creative strategy.
  • Ability to blend strategic thinking with creativity
  • Curious about culture, innovation, and communication trends
  • Ability to inspire a creative team while building trust with clients
  • Ability to collaborate closely with brand strategists, creatives, and media experts
  • Good grasp of both digital and traditional media ecosystems
  • Ability to tell a story and present it in a way that inspires others
  • Curious, proactive mindset: happy to take initiative and shape your own approach
  • Confidence in working side by side with creatives, other strategists, media specialists, and clients
  • Appetite for culture, platforms, and communication trends
