• Participation in safety training to ensure proper personal protective equipment is worn, safe handling of equipment, safety policies and procedures are adhered to, etc.
• Participation in the operational efficiency of the branch work flow in the yard. This will include equipment check-in, washing of equipment, assisting customers, etc.

Sales Intern, Paid

Account Executive

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies in accordance with pricing policies and procedures
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations regarding delivery
• Generate leads for new business and communicate leads with Outside Sales Representatives
• Warm call on lost and/or dormant accounts to retain business
• Maintain a clean and presentable showroom, sufficiently stocked with merchandise

• Promote awareness of site services products, technical knowledge and effective selling practices
• Target specific customers and vertical opportunities
• Ride Alongs with all business unit sales reps to educate and seek out revenue opportunities

• Lead and coordinate ROS response/mobilization for disaster response
• Conduct site services training, to create awareness, product knowledge and effective selling techniques

Outside Sales Representative

Operations

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives
• Responsible for performance management of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff as applicable
• Motivate, coach and train personnel
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication

Operations Manager – ROS

Software Engineer

• Implement enterprise-grade applications using OutSystems, including new development, enhancements, and integrations with other systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Support application lifecycle management, including deployments, upgrades, and environment maintenance.
• Partner with business and application teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and integration standards.
• Support user testing and provide ongoing production support.
• Maintain technical and support documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure alignment and delivery of business value.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce development standards, ensure quality, and mentor junior developers.
• Address users’ system issues escalated by the Support Center/Help Desk.

Senior Analyst, Programmer – OutSystems

Manager

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives
• Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets and other reports detailing operational status

• Lead high-level sales conversations involving price negotiations, multi-piece rental requests, government and educational collective agreements, equipment service contracts, the sale of used equipment at the end of its rental life, and much more.
• Learn proven sales methodologies to deliver solutions for our customers and drive revenue growth.
• Participate in local team initiatives such as daily safety huddles, customer appreciation events, equipment yard sale events, customer entertainment outings, charity drives, and 1UR internal team-building workshops.
• Track your Sales Development progress through multiple achievement levels, with access to real-time sales performance metrics and weekly peer-ranked competitions.
• Receive daily feedback from corporate and local leadership meetings, call coaching sessions, and ride-alongs to local jobsites. You will drive engagement during these meetings by developing sales strategies for your accounts and creating realistic timelines to achieve your goals.
• The average Sales Associate spends 4-6 months in the Sales Development Program (SDP) before promotion to an Outside Sales Representative (OSR), with the timeline dependent on market conditions and individual performance.
