About the role

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to sales/Go-to-Market leaders to shape and execute people strategies
  • Partner with sales leadership to align org design, team structure, and talent strategies with roadmaps and delivery goals
  • Lead strategic workforce planning to ensure teams have the right skills and capacity for sales targets and quotas
  • Guide execution of performance cycles, OKRs, and career development planning; coach leaders on feedback, goal setting, and calibration
  • Facilitate talent reviews focusing on sales-critical roles, skill gaps, and succession planning for sales leadership and technical sellers
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives that reinforce a high-trust, inclusive culture
  • Resolve employee relations issues with a proactive, fair, and data-informed approach in partnership with Legal and Employee Relations
  • Ensure exceptional onboarding and offboarding to optimize knowledge continuity and cultural integration
  • Lead people-focused change initiatives (reorgs, product pivots, M&A integration) with empathy and clarity
  • Collaborate across HR COEs (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, L&D) to create scalable, customized solutions for the sales org

Requirements

  • 9+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to high-growth tech such as Saas or sales driven organizations
  • Experience supporting or working with Sales teams such as direct sellers, sales engineers, customer success, etc.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how sales organizations operate
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior sales leaders and executives
  • Proven ability to drive cultural transformation and leadership development in cross-functional, matrixed environments
  • Deep knowledge of performance management, org development, and talent planning practices
  • Highly analytical and data-savvy; comfortable using insights to drive decision-making and influence outcomes
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in fast-paced, iterative environments
  • This role is hybrid based in Austin, TX
