About the role

  • Ensure efficient and effective daily conversion of interviews, hires, and placements; monitor and enhance team performance to meet quality standards.
  • Manage communication, forecasting, and support for UMA’s current students, graduating students, and alumni; provide personalized guidance to help them navigate their career paths.
  • Guide graduates through the entire interview and hiring process with Allied Healthcare employers; prepare graduates for interviews; facilitate interview attendance; assist with job offers and onboarding; support graduates in their new roles.
  • Handle manager-level customer service, re-engagement, and de-escalation calls as necessary; cultivate positive relationships with students, alumni, and employers.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, monitor calls, and provide one-on-one development for assigned team members.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members; foster a culture of wellness, recognition, and engagement; meet regularly with direct reports to provide feedback and maintain positive work culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in recruiting, career services, employment assistance, or sales.
  • Skills – people leadership, multi-tasking, ability to handle a high-pressure environment, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role.
  • Preferred: Any degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 3+ years’ experience and/or strong or advanced proficiency in any of the above required skills/experience.
  • Preferred: Experience leading teams and/or people.
  • Preferred: Experience developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships.
  • Preferred: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Preferred: Other skills and abilities – project management, complex problem-solving, time management, influence, and empathy.
