About the role
- Genetec seeks a Sales Development Representative to enable sales and marketing to accelerate pipeline and bookings growth.
- Responsible for identifying and generating new qualified opportunities and creating new business pipeline by qualifying active buying interest and identifying decision makers.
- Become highly proficient using lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to extract contacts and create targeted prospect lists.
- Execute prospecting plans using email, phone, and social touches.
- Manage conversations with executives and decision makers to schedule sales meetings.
- Assist Account Executives by moving qualified leads through the sales cycle.
- Manage inbound leads with a prioritization strategy.
Requirements

- Strong conversational communication skills, with a high degree of curiosity and empathy, and strong listening skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Business or related area preferred but not required
- Prior Sales Development (SDR) experience or other customer-oriented background (support, customer service) preferred but not required
- Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) is an asset
