About the role

  • Genetec seeks a Sales Development Representative to enable sales and marketing to accelerate pipeline and bookings growth.
  • Responsible for identifying and generating new qualified opportunities and creating new business pipeline by qualifying active buying interest and identifying decision makers.
  • Become highly proficient using lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to extract contacts and create targeted prospect lists.
  • Execute prospecting plans using email, phone, and social touches.
  • Manage conversations with executives and decision makers to schedule sales meetings.
  • Assist Account Executives by moving qualified leads through the sales cycle.
  • Manage inbound leads with a prioritization strategy.

Requirements

  • An ability to excel in high-stress, operationally complex, fast-paced, or customer-facing work environments.
  • Strong conversational communication skills, with a high degree of curiosity and empathy, and strong listening skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related area preferred but not required
  • Prior Sales Development (SDR) experience or other customer-oriented background (support, customer service) preferred but not required
  • Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) is an asset
