About the role

  • Create a client experience that accurately reflects the ethos of the TUMI brand while building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service.
  • Meet and exceed individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
  • Display initiative: plan and prioritize, demonstrate strategic thinking, champion change, take responsibility for performance, complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Support people development: train and develop associates through roleplay and coaching, assist Store Manager with training and development, complete quarterly personal development goal setting.
  • Provide coaching and feedback: articulate strengths, goals and opportunities, use company tools to create a 360-degree coaching culture, be solution oriented and open to feedback.
  • Communicate and build relationships: exercise strong written and verbal skills, adapt communication, demonstrate ethical conduct, remain calm and deescalate situations, collaborate effectively with team.
  • Ensure compliance: manage personal timecards, maintain Tumi University training, adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Visual merchandising and client experience: ensure the store follows visual guidelines and directives, enforce excellent client services through client books, thank you cards and event strategies, ensure a consistent superior client experience.

Requirements

  • Understand the TUMI brand and have true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
  • Value a collaborative environment and have an openness to feedback.
  • The retail team stands, moves around the store, lifts, pushes boxes that weigh 30 pounds, and uses a ladder to complete job duties.
  • Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market.
  • Can demonstrate proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving KPI’s.
  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed.
  • Have a strong sense of integrity and an ability to lead by example.
  • Have strong time management skills.
