About the role

  • Create a client experience that reflects the TUMI brand while building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service.
  • Meet and exceed individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics, including conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
  • Display initiative: plan and prioritize, demonstrate strategic thinking, and champion change.
  • Take responsibility for performance, complete assigned tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Train and develop associates through roleplay and coaching; assist Store Manager with training and development and complete quarterly personal development goalsetting.
  • Provide coaching and feedback, utilize company tools to create a 360-degree coaching culture.
  • Exercise strong written and verbal communication; adapt communication upwards, laterally, and to the team; collaborate effectively.
  • Manage personal timecards for payroll accuracy, maintain Tumi University Training, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure visual merchandising follows guidelines; enforce excellent client services using client books, thank you cards, and event strategies; ensure a consistent superior client experience.

Requirements

  • Understand the TUMI brand and have true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
  • Value a collaborative environment and have an openness to feedback.
  • The retail team stands, moves around the store, lifts, pushes boxes that weigh 30 pounds, and uses a ladder to complete job duties.
  • Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market.
  • Can demonstrate proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving KPI’s.
  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed.
  • Have a strong sense of integrity and an ability to lead by example.
  • Have strong time management skills.
