About the role
- Identify, engage, and attract exceptional talent for highly technical and nuanced roles
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives and outreach programs aligned with company leadership principles
- Conduct a high volume of targeted outreach weekly, aiming for a 20%+ response conversion rate
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and talent team, providing data-driven insights and market trend updates
- Rapidly onboard to new positions and master role-specific terminology to deliver immediate sourcing impact
- Within 72 hours attend intake meeting prepared with a Total Addressable Market (TAM) overview and 5–10 sample profiles
- Within 48 hours refine search criteria based on feedback, then create A/B outreach messaging and aim to source 100 candidates within the first week
- Identify internal team members for referrals and schedule sourcing jams
- Analyze sourcing data two weeks after initial outreach to optimize conversion and iterate until role is filled
- Participate in weekly hiring syncs, weekly team sourcing syncs, and bi-weekly team meetings to align on hiring progress
Requirements
- 3+ years of sourcing experience in high-growth US-headquartered tech startups
- Proven track record of sourcing top cleared engineering talent
- Proven experience in sourcing hard-to-find positions using sourcing tools, market research, and personalized outreach strategies
- Ability to analyze and interpret sourcing metrics, conversion rates, and market data to refine strategies
- Exceptional communication skills to work with hiring managers and provide regular updates
- Strong persistence and results-oriented mindset to meet ambitious outreach targets
- Ability to rapidly familiarize oneself with new roles and requirements
- Must maintain at least a 4-hour overlap with PST business hours (availability between ~7am–12pm PST overlap)
