About the role
- Define and lead initiatives across payments, lending, and payroll products; Own the planning, reporting, and performance management cadence for the part of the Fintech org to ensure goals, metrics, and priorities are aligned and executed; Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to optimize pricing, packaging, and customer experience; Build business cases for new monetization strategies and lead cross-functional efforts to bring them to life; Support product launches, operational changes, and pricing adjustments, partnering with Sales and Customer Success teams; Continuously monitor the Fintech landscape to identify emerging trends, uncovering opportunities to enhance Toast’s offerings and maintain competitive advantages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of equivalent work experience, preferably in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, operations for high-growth technology, or venture capital; Demonstrated experience with strategic/operational projects that have many facets and moving parts; Leadership and general management skills, especially in gaining alignment with different stakeholders; Strong time management, organizational, and relationship skills; Superior verbal, written, and presentation communication skills; Proven ability to develop relationships and problem solve with cross-functional partners; Strategic thinker and tactical executor able to shift from big picture to detailed operations; Excellent analytical skills with the ability to uncover insights to solve complex problems; SQL is a plus; Team player with an excellent track record of success in fast-paced environments with changing priorities; Understanding of the FinTech industry; Motivated and action-oriented.
