• The Sales Manager is responsible for the management and development of the sales team.
• Responsibilities include hiring, training, and developing outside and inside sales team.
• On-going coaching, directly selling to company’s customers and prospects.
• Working with operations to grow new business and current customer sales.
• Providing strategic guidance, supervision, and leadership to a diverse workforce, specifically the Account Executive and Key Account Manager positions.
• Assume all profit and loss accountability for the sales department.
• Recruit and hire Account Executives and Key Account Managers to grow the sales department.
• Train sales department on Thompson Safety Sales Process, specific safety product lines and OSHA/ANSI compliance regulations.
• Provide on-going coaching and feedback through regular check-in’s, ride-along’s, and mentorship.
• Direct selling into prospects, specifically target accounts.
• Build and develop partnerships that will grow the business within the industry marketplace (NAFED, ASSP, NSC).
• Educate service department on identifying leads and closing business.
• Work with General Manager to foster success between sales, operations, and culture.
• Overall responsibility to ensure maximum level of engagement and performance of sales personnel in accordance with applicable laws and the company’s values.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Sales Manager

Administrative Assistant

• Provides administrative support services to various areas of a fire protection branch.
• Data entry.
• Responds to general inquiries from management, employees, clients inside and outside of the company.
• Interface with vendors and various internal departments.
• Assist with special projects and research as needed.
• Assist with managing PO's, tracking orders, receiving and billing/invoices order as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Fire Administrative Associate

Accounts Receivable

• Adhere to established protocols for assessing customer accounts and identifying outstanding balances
• Reach out to customers to secure payments for both current and past-due amounts
• Notify your supervisor of any discrepancies related to payments
• Elevate any client inquiries that require further investigation or resolution
• Helps with receipt and payment inquiries for locations
• Furnish customers with copies of invoices as required
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Supply Chain

• Responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient reprocessing of fire extinguishers in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, primarily NFPA 10.
• Maintain full control of warehouse inventory, asset tracking, and technician support readiness.
• Directly manages a team of employees.
• Oversee recharge, 6-year maintenance, hydrostatic testing, valve replacement, and O-ring servicing.
• Maintain accurate real-time inventory and logs.
• Maintain hydrostatic test equipment calibration.
• Train warehouse technicians in daily operations.
