Serve as the East region Business Development Specialist for the CCCT Cell Therapy portfolio, focusing on Isolation, Activation, and Expansion Cell Therapy manufacturing workflows
Drive technology adoption and revenue growth across the North America (NA) East Region
Collaborate with cross-divisional Cell Therapy partners and the greater BPG commercial team to build a strong pipeline of revenue growth
Develop a strategic territory plan for the region to harness Thermo Fisher's commercial teams in driving CGT initiatives and growth
Own the region's opportunity pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
Engage with customers through face-to-face meetings, teleconferences, and email interactions
Communicate evolving Cell Therapy market trends and competition to the business unit(s)
Report to the Cell Culture Cell Therapy (CCCT) business unit and work closely with the cross-divisional CGT Business Development team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a life-science-related field required (Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Engineering)
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience working in a role related to Cell Therapy or bioprocess
5-7+ years of sales or related experience preferred
Experience in cross-divisional environments and influencing without authority
Knowledge and experience in the Cell Therapy field and desire to keep up with the rapidly advancing field
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency using all Microsoft products
Ability to travel approximately 30%
Field based, remote home office location in close proximity to a Cell Therapy hub (Boston or Philadelphia preferred)
