About the role

  • Manage transactional accounts and represent the entire LGC Standards product portfolio across multiple industries.
  • Identify and close new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead qualification.
  • Engage with clients via email, phone, and virtual meetings to convert leads, follow up on quotes, and drive new business.
  • Apply LGC’s sales tools and digital capabilities for territory planning, lead nurturing, and sales growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing to launch new products and stay ahead of competitor activity and industry trends.
  • Ensure outstanding customer support by managing service cases effectively and maintaining response time SLAs.

Requirements

  • Scientific background – Degree or equivalent experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Environmental Science, Industrial Science, or Chemistry.
  • Sales experience – Proven track record in selling technical products for research or analytical laboratories.
  • Proactive & adaptable – Thrives in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • Lead generation & account management – Ability to develop new business while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Standout colleague – Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams.
  • Fluent in English (B2 level or higher) – Strong communication skills are essential.
