About the role

  • Senior Quality Engineer - Processes, Methods & Tools for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)
  • Hybrid position located within 50 miles of listed U.S. locations; requires some presence on site
  • Works cross-functionally across BDS divisions, programs/sites
  • Responsible for Quality processes including LSC, CTC, MSE, PVAP, EPES, Surveillances, FAI, NCM, AIDR, GIDEP, BOI, IBN
  • Develops processes, methods, tools and metrics to ensure quality and compliance; leads verification reviews
  • Advises on testing and approval methods; performs benchmarking and continuous improvement
  • Level 4 and Level 5 responsibilities include developing quality metrics, plans, supplier quality criteria, leading reviews, developing advanced statistical methods (Level 5)
  • May require up to 10% travel; 1st shift; no visa sponsorship; must meet U.S. Person export control requirement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study listed
  • More than 5 years of experience performing analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements and/or government regulations
  • More than 5 years of experience do you have presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefings
  • More than 3 years of experience with root cause corrective action
  • Subject matter expert level knowledge of: Line Stock Check (LSC); First Article Inspection (FAI); Cut the CoRRS (CTC) (preferred for Level 5)
  • More than 8 years of experience performing analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to a Quality Management System requirement (preferred for Level 5)
  • More than 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry (preferred for Level 5)
