About the role

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Quality processes including LSC, CTC, MSE, Enterprise Quality Work Movement & Transfers, PVAP, EPES Surveillances, FAI, NCM, AIDR, GIDEP, BOI, IBN
  • Consults at the business unit level to develop Quality criteria for programs/sites and supplier selection
  • Oversees development of Processes, Methods, Tools and metrics to ensure quality and compliance
  • Leads verification reviews and surveillances to validate product and process Quality requirements
  • Develops new methods for conducting product and process validations and for testing/approval of products, processes, equipment and measurement systems
  • Represents Quality in design reviews and advises on inter-relationship of multiple systems
  • Performs benchmarking of enterprise best practices and analyzes non-conformance trends
  • Leads cross-functional continuous Quality improvement efforts
  • Develops quality metrics, certification plans, and authors Quality plans for major programs (Level 4/5 responsibilities)
  • Works under consultative/minimal direction and interacts with Senior Leadership to present findings

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • More than 5 years of experience performing analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements and/or government regulations
  • More than 5 years of experience presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefings
  • More than 3 years of experience with root cause corrective action
  • Subject matter expert level knowledge of: Line Stock Check (LSC); First Article Inspection (FAI); Cut the CoRRS (CTC) (preferred)
  • Experience in MSE, PVAP, WT, GIDEP, BOI, IBN, PQDR, SOOTs, EPES Surveillances, LSC, FAI, CTC and NCM
  • More than 8 years of experience performing analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to a Quality Management System requirement (preferred for Level 5)
  • More than 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with Senior Leadership in planning, developing and presenting succinct presentations
  • Travel: may require up to 10% travel
  • Shift: 1st shift
