- Role: Flow Cytometry Instrument Sales Specialist for Western US; home-based in SF Bay Area\n

- Responsibilities: Demonstrate selling success in flow cytometers; provide product capabilities and technical specifications; instrument demonstrations; attend sales meetings, seminars and trade shows\n

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field required, preferred M.Sc. or PhD\n
- Strong background in flow cytometry with a basic understanding of cell sorting\n
- 5 years of professional work experience\n
- Hands-on experience in a research laboratory setting preferred, or previous sales experience selling instrumentation\n
- Experience in working efficiently in a matrix environment\n
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities\n
- Strong oral and written communication skills\n
- Success in working and driving business growth across business functions\n
- Ability to travel overnight travel up to 25% of the time\n
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record\n
- Able to lift 50 lbs. independently\n
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications\n
- Knowledge of CRM systems like Sales Force\n
- Understanding of the sales funnel and how to move sales forward in a changing environment\n
- Can-do demeanor and highly motivated to win sales and take share from competitors
