About the role
- Work directly with the sales team, agency partners, and brand partners to understand measurement needs and challenges
- Manage data partners and vendors to execute both upper and lower funnel measurement solutions for advertising sales clients
- Design and create measurement strategy and approach; lead consultation conversations with clients
- Present and explain new concepts to internal and external clients
- Collaborate with senior manager, external data providers and internal teams to design research attributing consumer sentiment or behavior to exposure to ads on Disney properties (including: Hulu, ABC, Freeform, ESPN, Disney Channel, etc.)
- Create vision, develop and market case studies demonstrating Disney’s measurement capabilities
- Build reports for sellers to utilize with clients to help inform deals
- Position Disney as a thought leader by scoping custom analyses aligned with Disney data strategy
- Lead a group of analysts and support them in the execution of custom research studies
- Educate Disney Advertising Sales teams on full funnel measurement solutions, methodology overview, navigating vendor dashboards and analyzing results
Requirements
- 5+ years of Experience in digital, digital video/TV, or media-focused data businesses
- BA/BS is communications, data analytics, social sciences or related field required
- Experience with, and a strong understanding of methodology, data and systems for matching data sets to demonstrate performance-based response to advertising
- Strong knowledge of brand effectiveness and attribution/ROI control/exposed methodologies including 1st and 3rd party data matching, website conversion, market-match tests, hold-outs, etc.
- Experience in measurement theory and research design
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of the media business
- Must have excellent presentation and writing skills
- Experience with attribution/ROI, brand lift vendors or data providers is a plus
- SQL experience is a plus
- Must be a team player with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external clients
