Account Manager

• You will be responsible for managing Goodlord’s accounts and driving growth through strategic up-selling and retention initiatives.
• Focus on customer retention and growth, working closely with customers to understand how we can improve key products and up-selling additional products and features.
• Managing both direct customer relationships with your own accounts, and working with a pool of shared customers but still maximising the opportunity they provide us.
• Using data to communicate and educate our customers, through account reviews and other contact points that ultimately tie into our and their wider sales strategies.
• Collate and provide clear and consistent customer feedback internally, to support our business strategy in improving customer experience

• Help shape high-quality user journeys that improve the renting experience for agents, tenants, landlords and guarantors.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to influence product strategy and deliver end-to-end design solutions.
• Own design quality across the product, from user research and concept, through to implementation and iteration.

• Create and execute our future sales strategy: Develop and deliver a comprehensive, data-driven sales strategy that delivers ambitious, long-term, sustainable growth.
• Elevate and scale our Sales team: Lead, coach and optimise an established team of around 8 sales professionals across London and Sheffield, unlocking performance in the current team while shaping how the function scales as the business grows.
• Drive Customer relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, leading key negotiations and key deals with a strong focus on long-term relationship management.
• Optimise sales operations: Own forecasting, reporting, tooling and automation to improve efficiency and performance.

• Act as the day-to-day PR contact for Goodlord
• Manage proactive and reactive media engagement across property, technology and business press
• Brief and manage our external PR agency, ensuring clear priorities and strong output
• Support corporate affairs activity by working closely with our Marketing Director (and external consultant where required) on regulatory and policy-related communications
• Own the content plan and day-to-day output across blogs, opinion pieces, insight-led content and campaign support
• Write, edit and publish content yourself where needed
• Line-manage and support a junior content marketer
• Ensure content supports wider marketing and business priorities
• Partner with senior leaders to support commentary, bylines and external positioning
• Ghostwrite or edit content as required
• Provide clear, pragmatic advice on messaging and tone
