About the role

  • ABOUT US: The Brydon Group is a Washington D.C.-based private equity firm that partners with mid-career executives to acquire B2B, B2G, and healthcare software and services businesses.
  • As an Analyst you will play a key role in firm's deal origination strategy, working closely with Managing Partners, Director of Business Development, and CEOs-in-Residence to identify, qualify, and advance investment opportunities.
  • Deal Origination: Draft, support, and execute outreach to North American intermediaries; manage relationships with investment bankers; manage deal platforms; identify new brokers/banks and vertical relationships.
  • Best Practices Training: Support logistics, planning, and execution for sales training content; refine training programs; work with Hubspot consultants; prepare and maintain training materials.
  • Sourcing Technology & Operations: Lead CRM and sales tech stack management; manage outsourced list building teams and data hygiene; analyze campaign performance and optimize outreach; lead intern program recruiting and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required, preferably in a business related field (e.g., marketing, sales, economics, finance, accounting, management)
  • New graduates welcome, though 1-2 years professional experience in a professional services environment preferred (e.g. finance, private equity, consulting, marketing, communications, executive search, event management, etc.)
  • Superior written communication skills (emails, memos, short powerpoint documents)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including small business CEOs and external Brydon partners (vendors, brokers, etc.)
  • Outstanding time management, organization, and decision-making skills with consistent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task across high-priority initiatives running in parallel
  • Familiarity with professional social media and sales engagement platforms a (e.g., LinkedIn, Zoominfo, HubSpot, Grata)
  • Dedicated work ethic and commitment to enhancing the team
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work well in an unstructured environment
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to work for a dynamic and successful organization
