Cloud Engineer

• Provide objective, non-advocacy technical advice to the DAF on the application of AI and cloud-computing solutions across space systems, architectures, and acquisition portfolios.
• Assess technology readiness, implementation risk, and integration challenges for AI, machine learning, autonomy, and cyber technologies in space acquisition programs.
• Support enterprise capability development and integration, including mission thread analysis and cross-program integration studies and activities.
• Advise on acquisition and integration strategies.

Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing Capabilities Advisor

Data Engineer

• DataOps Platform Development
• Integrate enterprise data standards, pipelines, and best practices for automated data ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery with end user workflows, applications, and data
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and interoperable data architectures aligned with organizational goals
• Deploy and extend data platforms across multiple environments, including classified networks, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures
• Establish processes to ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle (ingest → curate → consume)

• Participate on interdisciplinary teams in ongoing research or technical programs with other engineering interns, experienced professionals and members of the U.S. government
• Evaluate and assess customer mission-integration needs and/or challenges, develop end-to-end mission threads, and provide timely advice, make recommendations to enterprise leaders on risks, issues, and gaps, and develop recommended solutions to enable desired mission outcomes.

• Deliver results as the thermal subject matter expert in thermal control systems for spacecraft and payloads
• Lead and conduct analysis, modeling, simulation, experimental investigations, and assessments of designs and design concepts relating to spacecraft thermal control systems and their components

• This position is focused on leading development and developing highly resilient and efficient data platforms

Data and Software Engineering Intern

• Own and engineer Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Azure production services, solving full-stack engineering problems independently in multi-account organization
• Provide engineering and architecture cloud expertise, including security, to onboard production & R&D cloud projects
• Assist scientists and engineers with running workloads and applications in AWS / Azure
