About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze technical, operational, cost, schedule, and acquisition data to identify trends, risks, dependencies, and performance drivers
  • Support life-cycle cost estimates, schedule assessments, economic analyses, and evaluations of government and industry estimates
  • Assist with developing and evaluating Integrated Master Schedules and conducting Schedule Risk Assessments
  • Identify and quantify program risks
  • Apply operations research methods, including modeling, simulation, optimization, and decision analysis
  • Support acquisition research, analyses of alternatives, business case analyses, and trade studies involving space and ground systems
  • Collaborate with senior staff to develop analytical models, databases, findings, and decision-ready recommendations
  • Document analysis and present technical, cost, and programmatic data and findings to peers and management
  • Participate in training and mentorship

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Systems, Industrial), Operations Research, Mathematics (Applied, Statistics), or related STEM field
  • 0-1 year relevant experience in Cost Engineering, Schedule Engineering, or Economic Analysis within the Aerospace or Defense industries
  • Understanding of cost, schedule, and project management methodologies and frameworks
  • Familiarity with aerospace or systems engineering principles
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
