About the role
- Represent the Teq brand by selling products, services, and full solutions to new and existing customers in the K-12 education environment
- Reach out to potential leads through phone, email, social media and in-person engagements
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and meet with key decision makers
- Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Develop a sales pipeline for three times the monthly sales target
- Travel to clients within the MA area to ensure face-to-face contact with prospects
- Work with Account Executive to develop acquisition plans for new customers and upsell/cross-sell to existing customers
- Work with marketing department to implement and track ROI of local marketing events in your sales territory
Requirements
- 3-5 years of field sales experience is preferred but not required
- Teaching experience a plus
- Proven ability to create and maintain strong business relationships with all levels of customer organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent organization, time management and presentation skills
- Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
- Expertise in CRM software solutions - HubSpot a plus
- Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel within the MA area for face-to-face meetings
- Competitive Base Salary ($60-80K) + Commission with no Cap + Bonus incentives (OTE $150-$170K UNCAPPED)
