Account Executive

• Actively prospect and acquire new clients to meet and exceed annual quotas and targets
• Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base
• Manage the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting and lead qualification to negotiating and closing contracts
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders through both virtual and in-person meetings
• Represent Nielsen at industry and client events as needed
• Serve as a subject matter expert in direct client pitches, communicating product benefits to address client needs
• Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans for assigned roster
• Collaborate with account management, operations, enablement, marketing, and product teams to drive customer satisfaction
• Assist in development and implementation of client-specific sales strategies
• Proactively identify personal product knowledge gaps and create training plans; share best practices with colleagues
• Maintain detailed and accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce for reporting and forecasting
• Prepare for and lead internal and external meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
• Monitor individual sales performance metrics and KPIs, market trends, and competitor activity
