About the role

  • Represent the Teq brand by selling products, services, and full solutions to new and existing K-12 customers
  • Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and meet with key decision makers
  • Develop a sales pipeline equivalent to 3x monthly sales target
  • Travel to clients within the NJ area to ensure face-to-face contact with prospects
  • Work with Account Executive to develop acquisition plans for new customers
  • Upsell and cross-sell existing customers with new products and services
  • Work with marketing to implement and track ROI of local marketing events in your sales territory
  • Reach out to potential leads through phone, email, social media and in-person engagements

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of field sales experience preferred but not required
  • Teaching experience a plus
  • Proven ability to create and maintain strong business relationships with all levels of customer organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent organization, time management and presentation skills
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Expertise in CRM software solutions - HubSpot a plus
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel within New Jersey for face-to-face contact with prospects
  • Ability to prospect via phone, email, social media and in-person engagements
