About the role
- Integral part of store success and efficiency; support Coach brand commitment when servicing customers.
- Cash wrap: greet customers, capture email/name where permitted, operate POS accurately, maintain cash wrap organization/cleanliness, suggest add-ons, sell gift cards, maintain cash and POS media in compliance with policy, thank customers to create reason to return.
- Stockroom/warehouse: receive shipments and transfers, scan cartons, verify store information, communicate discrepancies, process shipments/transfers per standards, organize/clean stockroom, shift product for sell-through, manage stock levels, prepare/conduct cycle counts, participate in physical inventory.
- Sales floor: analyze replenishment needs, replenish assigned zones, execute visual merchandising, support sales floor activities, communicate price/features/color/stock availability, respond to customer requests and partner with sales team or management, upkeep housekeeping standards.
- Maintain Company Loss Prevention standards and accurate/productive flow of product from receipt through point of sale.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous retail experience (cashier/stock experience, sales etc.), preferably in a luxury retail service environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Possesses current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
- Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills (including ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet).
- Ability to utilize walkie talkie and understand/read price and product release sheets.
- Ability to execute at a fast pace and communicate effectively with customers and team.
- Ability to maneuver the sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room; climbing, bending, and kneeling required.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays (high retail traffic days).
