About the role
- Greet customers at cash wrap, provide customer service, and offer your name
- Conduct email/name capture where permitted and suggest add-ons and gift cards
- Operate POS accurately, maintain cash and POS media in compliance with policy, and keep cash wrap organized and clean
- Receive shipments and transfers; scan cartons; process shipments/transfers; notify Store Management of new product and discrepancies
- Organize and maintain stockroom and offsite/remote warehouse; manage stock levels and product ownership
- Prepare and conduct cycle counts and participate in store physical inventory counts
- Analyze sales floor for replenishment needs; replenish assigned zones and react to sell-through
- Execute visual merchandising needs and support sales floor activities
- Communicate pricing, features/benefits, color and stock availability to customers and partner with sales team or management as needed
- Uphold housekeeping and Company Loss Prevention standards
Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous retail experience (cashier/stock experience, sales etc.), preferably in a luxury retail service environment
- Possesses current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Knowledge of cash register systems and Mobile POS
- Basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Internet)
- Ability to utilize walkie talkie and read price/product release sheets
- Physical ability to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and sometimes up to 50 pounds
- Ability to execute at a fast pace and communicate effectively with customers and team
- Availability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and high retail traffic days
