Support the Key Account Managers in driving penetration of the Grid Automation portfolio into direct accounts
Ensure the development of new opportunities, drive adoption of new products, engage customers proactively to expand adoption of GA portfolio
Manage sales opportunities and forecasts through the use of SPEAK
Be accountable for meeting or exceeding the orders and sales plans
Work with customers to determine their CTQ's (Critical To Quality) metrics and appropriate product/service solutions needs
Outline, present and sell the value of our products and services that can benefit customer needs
Work directly with Customers to influence specifications and close key deals
Provide an essential link from the customer to commercial operations, marketing, engineering and product development teams
Develop and cultivate long-term relationships in support of the account strategy
Provide input to the Account Plans, long term and short term actions needed to grow
Awareness and able to discuss at a high level value of the GA portfolio
Become proficient in new products that build on and expand the core portfolio
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or other technical field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, protection & control, asset management
Minimum of 5 years of Sales Experience within Utility or Industrial market places
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
