About the role

  • Achieving territory sales objectives through selling activities.
  • Cultivating business partnerships with key decision makers.
  • Product in-services, driving market share and sales growth.
  • Targeting acute care customers by selling and servicing Coloplast's portfolio of Ostomy Care product lines.
  • Effectively engaging all targeted accounts and developing a clear plan to achieve territory sales objectives.
  • Developing strategies to maximize territory and company objectives.
  • Understanding customer environment and key decision makers.
  • Ensuring timely advancement of the sale process with all targeted accounts.
  • Conducting cost/benefit analysis and demonstrating consultative selling skills.
  • Retaining and growing business within current customer base and developing long-term relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred with 3+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 2-year associate degree with 5+ years of med tech sales experience, OR 7+ years of med tech sales experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight -- 25% - 50%.
  • Employees must possess a valid driver’s license, as driving will be required for this position.
  • Strong Interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • High attention for detail and follow through.
  • Exceptional listening skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate effective time and territory management skills, administrative capabilities and effective written and oral communication capabilities.
