Field Engineer

• Own the technical resolution to multiple complex Controls system issues including Mark VI/VIe Product line, Human Machine Interface (HMI) platform, Industrial communication interface (Modbus, Foundation Fieldbus, OPC, Profibus, CAN bus, EGD etc.), historians, and industrial cyber security at power plants with a sense of urgency.
• Identify trending issues and provide countermeasures to protect our customers’ fleet, then communicate to the relevant audience (TILs, PSxBs, ETCs, OnTheGo alerts, etc.)

Lead Product Service Engineer – Controls Platform HMI, Network

General

• Support the business’ Tendering, Operations, Contractual and After Sales needs regarding:
• Defining control system requirements
• HVDC System in electromagnetic transient tools like PSCAD, EMTP-RV etc.
• Plant modelling in various simulation tools (MATLAB, PSCAD etc) and its verification
• Dynamic Performance Studies (DPS) and other design studies using both offline and online simulation tools
• Control and protection parameters tuning to meet grid stability criteria specified in customer technical specifications
• Conversion of MATLAB Simulink algorithms to PSCAD models

HVDC Control & Protection System Engineer

• As a Lead Engineer for Power Quality Products, you will be the technical lead responsible for the successful execution of projects from order intake through to final delivery.
• You will own the technical integrity of the solution, ensuring that what was promised to the customer is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• You will act as the key interface between customers, internal project management, factories, and external vendors, managing technical dimensioning, component procurement, and final documentation.

Technical Leader

Mechanical Engineer

• Responsible for leading and coordinating all technical aspects of the substations and balance of plant for large and HV substation projects
• The Lead Engineer must identify key internal & external stakeholders and their needs such as technical information, execution strategy, and drive effective communications to align people for efficient work
• Accountable for engineering activities on the assigned project such as: schedule development & updates, design safety, planning & tracking project design reviews, design optimization, On Time Delivery, risk management, and quality control/quality assurance

• Responsible for the preparation and delivery of the concept and detail design for power single line drawing, physical substation general arrangement layouts, plan and elevation drawings, equipment erection drawings, construction details, layouts for high voltage bus, cable, high voltage equipment, electrical clearances, conduit, cable, and wiring, auxiliary power, grounding, lightning and control buildings
• Responsible to produce optimized S/S outdoor general arrangements for AIS and also indoor arrangements for HV/MV/LV equipment for control buildings and GIS buildings
• Capable to produce and deliver Technical specifications and data sheets for all major HV equipment
• Must oversee if not self-perform related studies and calculations as well as development of the bills of material
• Manage a combined project BOM & MDL from multiple sources, writing and/or reviewing High Voltage equipment technical specifications, supporting sourcing for vendor quotations and reviews
• Single point of contact for technical issues for the customer and project manager
• This is a customer facing role that requires an assuring credible presence in front of the customer

Lead Substation Engineer – Substation Design

Account Manager

• You will serve as the strategic lead for key Electrification accounts, owning the relationship, the plan, and the outcomes — while coordinating across GE Vernova's full portfolio to deliver integrated solutions no single business line could offer alone.
• Own the account, end to end — maintain executive-level relationships from the C-suite down, lead regular business reviews, and develop a rolling 3+ year account strategy that aligns GE Vernova's priorities with the customer's long-term objectives, needs, and culture.
• Represent the full portfolio — advocate for the breadth of GE Vernova's Electrification (ELEC) product and service offerings, not only for HV systems and equipment, but also Protection and Control, power stability solutions (STATCOM, Synchronous Condensers, Fixed and Variable Series Compensation), Battery Storage and Solar Inverters, and Energy Management software ; drive collaboration across business lines where opportunities require complex or multi-business-line solutions.
• Drive cross-business growth — co-sell with Gas Power and Wind Power sales counterparts to improve Electrification attachment rates to new generation projects; engage with the Vernova’s Enterprise Strategic Account Executive (ESAE) counterparts to increase penetration and sharpen strategy across GE Vernova.

• Work with site & hub leadership to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements and activities set forth with on a daily basis, which include any portion of the electrical and mechanical equipment used in the GE wind turbine generator
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions

• Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation

• Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer's sites
