About the role
- Provide HR leadership globally for client area.
- Provide effective HR partnership to global employees while establishing strong working relationships with leaders and support the strategic direction of the function in both day-to-day operation and strategic planning.

- Develop talent strategies in partnership with Talent leaders, and create workforce plans that align to business priorities and future capability needs.
- Strengthen organizational health by optimizing structure, culture and proposed ways of working, while leading major change and transformation initiatives.
- Shape scenarios for organization design, headcount planning, based on attrition and growth projections.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Corporate HR leader to develop solutions, programs and practices including but not limited to engagement, talent development, succession planning and retention.
- Promote and activate a culture and environment that embodies the GE Vernova Way across the organization.
- Coach and counsel leaders through organizational changes/transformation/leadership changes, challenges, and opportunities in a heavily ambiguous environment.
- Partner horizontally across the global HR team to implement HR people agenda and drive consistent HR practices.
- Collaborate and engage with HR COEs to align on enable business outcomes through standard work adoption and early partnership.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners & HR People Partners to identify special projects and initiatives to support development of the team.
- Specific to the Advanced Research Center: Provide HR site leadership and strategic oversight in partnership with HRPP.
Requirements
- Significant experience in human resources positions client-based with the ability to define a HR strategic agenda independently and can work horizontally with the HR function (People Operations, other COE’s etc.) to execute.
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, deliver difficult messaging, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced and transformative environment and effectively and confidently interface at all organizational levels.
- An impact player and ‘voice around the table’ with proven ability to drive change in an effective and participative manner.
- Experience in organizational design work and talent development efforts or emphasis on HR leadership/people strategies, coaching, employee solutions.
- Ability to define and execute programs with established project management skills.
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Human Resources & HR Business Partnership.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
