About the role
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions from US-based employees.
- Support employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records.
- Partner with HRBP to ensure compliance with US labor laws and company policies.
- Assist with recruitment coordination, including scheduling interviews and liaising with candidates.
- Help manage PTO tracking, benefits inquiries, policies and employee engagement initiatives.
- Champion company culture by driving alignment, employee satisfaction, and engagement.
- Lead activities that strengthen workplace spirit, including team-building, recognition, and local employee events.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, ensuring open communication and a positive employee experience.
- Oversee day-to-day office and facilities operations, including administrative support, supplies, vendors, and general maintenance.
- Manage calendars and scheduling for C-level executives.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel (flights, hotels, transportation, etc.).
- Handle purchasing: open requisitions, communicate with suppliers, issue and send purchase orders, and follow up.
- Collect supplier invoices, verify accuracy and approvals, and coordinate with the HQ finance team to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain confidentiality around projects, correspondence, and sensitive company information.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR role.
- Availability to work on-site from the company office in New York 3 days a week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays).
- Prior experience as HR generalist/ operations manager, preferably in multi-national and fast-paced environments.
- Experience in recruitment processes - advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence culture and foster team alignment.
- Ability to handle multiple support-related tasks with a customer-service mindset.
- Strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; second language a plus.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AI productivity tools, and other advanced web-based platforms.
- Proactiveness and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
