About the role
- Shape and lead the strategic design, governance, and execution of compensation programs across the global Electrification Software business
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert and thought partner to HR, Finance, and Business Leaders providing insights and data-driven recommendations on compensation matters
- Drive and oversee annual compensation planning cycles including budget setting, pay reviews, incentive design, and program communications
- Lead external benchmarking, market intelligence, and workforce analytics to inform executive decision-making
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent, and business leadership to design career frameworks, salary ranges, and job structures
- Represent GE Vernova in global and regional HR Councils, Segment MORs, and European Wage Negotiation forums where applicable
- Anticipate regulatory, market, and business changes and adapt compensation policies and programs
- Serve as the primary Compensation Partner within the Software segment, providing strategic guidance across geographies
- Partner with senior leadership on change management and communication strategies for compensation programs
- Lead and support M&A-related Total Rewards activities including due diligence, integration planning, and harmonization of compensation programs
- Develop and execute forward-looking Total Rewards initiatives to support new business models and technology innovation
- Partner with global TR Centers of Expertise to influence enterprise-wide policy design
- Manage, mentor, and develop a direct report and build organizational capability through coaching and upskilling HR peers
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years post qualification HR experience
- Prior Compensation & Benefits (C&B) experience is a must
- Strong compensation consultation and partnership skills
- Ability to build solid relationships and partner across functions
- Demonstrable leadership capability with coaching, mentoring, influencing and stakeholder relationship skills
- Able to navigate, lead and manage within a highly matrix environment
- Experience designing and managing base salary structures, incentive plans, competitive market analysis, forecasting trends, costs and modeling outcomes
- Understanding of and experience in administering global benefit programs
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, roll-up-sleeves, innovative environment
- Ambidextrous teammate; collaborative and able to work independently; self-starter
